We had a wonderful town hall yesterday evening at Joybound People & Pets where we talked about our efforts at the federal and local level to protect animals. Thanks to Susan Lee Vick for joining as a special guest from Joybound and to all the animal lovers who joined.
As a leader in the fight against climate change both in my time in local government and now on Capitol Hill, I was excited to visit the Phillips 66 Renewable Energy Complex to discuss easing the inevitable transition away from fossil fuels and to see their renewable fuel operation.

In addition to providing critical care for our community, the healthcare sector is also one of the largest employers in CA-10. I met with the John Muir Health team this week about the state of the industry and how the federal government can better support healthcare providers.
