It’s the same story everywhere: corporate profits are at record highs, while workers’ share of the economy is at a record low. We must unrig the system.

Time to adopt the concept that minimum wage = livable wage. It should be unlawful for a company to pay less than a livable wage for full time work.

One of the most radical positions you can take in American politics is that people are just people, and that regardless of where they're born they have the same rights and worth as anyone else. Any articulation of that view will alienate you from both parties and get you treated like a terrorist.

Marc Elias@marcelias.bsky.social · 2mo agoNotice DOJ doesn't talk about its efforts to obtain state voter files anymore. They are 0-20 in those cases and today is the beginning of the quiet period -- states can no longer do systematic removals of names from the voter rolls. TLDR: We won!🥳
