Had a rough day yesterday, hoping today will be better. It'll be a "sit on the couch & catch up on shows/movies day" trying to recover. I at least made some notes just now of a new (one day in the) future story idea, based on a dream this morning. It's some writing at least! #ScribesUnited

Oh hey #ScribesUnited started! Don't have any brain power today for any writing, but wanted to find a project to pass the time and get me through the day. So today I'll be cleaning up and sorting a bunch of music I ripped from CDs recently. Been meaning to find the motivation to work on it.

One thing I've learned in my writing journey, is how challenging it is to write 1st person well. I feel like there's often a connotation with 1st person & using it only for a young demo. Me starting with (a more mature) 1st person + featuring an introverted, insecure MC, has def been hardmode 😅

Digimon Beatbreak This was a very slow-paced series, before it started to find its footing. Some of the most heartfelt, emotional background stories, even for the side cast. They really upped the maturity of the story, surprising me. Oh, & it also has the first canon queer couple too! Good stuff! 😌
