If you want to see indie projects succeed, you have to spearhead the support for them. Talk openly about other people’s work and how much you like it, draw fanart, reshare content about the project, send it to a friend, leave comments on every update, donate money, etc.
Working on a pilot has changed my brain chemistry so much. Everytime I watch something, I find myself picking out errors in shot continuity. I've discovered the most common one seems to be the way an actor's arms are positioned between cuts.
I think the ability to see *through* bullshit is a skill more people should develop.
Man, the Knives Out movies might be some of my favorite films. They're so well written and thought out! I always feel like I'm picking up on new things everytime I rewatch them.
