Tombstone | Sketchcover Commish Tombstone is one of those characters where the silhouette does a LOT of the heavy lifting. I wanted to push the shapes a little but still keep him reading immediately, then use the splatter and color to fill out the canvas.
Star Fox | 2 card sketchcard commish I tried to keep Fox a little less loose and more stylized with this one, but still clean enough that the shapes stay readable. With some of those iconic anime characters, the more you push the exaggeration, the easier it is for everything to start losing shape.
I heard it was Batman day, so here's the time I drew some Bat Spawn and Spawnin' for Spawn Kills Every Spawn.
Knightfall Bane | 8x8 Chonk Live Demo Had a blast drawing this one live on Whatnot last night. Watercolor background with marker and colored pencil on Bane. Chonk is all about pushing those proportions, big ass body, tiny little legs.
If Wizard Magazine was around today, Spider-Punk would be plastered on every other cover with some psychotic, hyper-aggressive tagline like "SPIDER-PUNK! LIQUIDATE YOUR SAVINGS TO OWN THE MOST EXTREME SLABS OF ANARCHY EVER PRINTED! BUY THREE COPIES OR DIE!"
Venom 3 Wide Sketchcard Commish WE ARE VENOM. WE DEMAND MORE ROOM! One card was PATHETIC. Two cards were INSULTING. Three cards was the BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED TO CONTAIN OUR GLORIOUS SYMBIOTE EXCESS!
Chapel Spawn | Unused Cover Pitch Found an old Chapel Spawn sketch in the archives and decided to take another swing at it as a possible variant cover. Sadly, it was a no-go, but I still really liked the idea, so I figured it was worth finishing up and sharing anyway.

Vampirella | sketch cover commish There’s a LOT going on in this one, so I kept the scribble pretty minimal and went with more of a classic animation style approach. I painted the background with acrylic gouache to keep everything from getting too muddy.

TMNT / Daredevil split sketch cover commish Final colors are wrapped! This one was a real challenge to work out, mostly because I wanted to invert the red and green on each side while still making the whole thing feel like one connected image.
Legend of Zelda | Game Pages Been doing these since third grade, trying to draw what it feels like to play a game. The challenge: Master Sword to Ganon in 3 pages. Basically, sketchbook ideation disguised as playing Zelda. Three pages, one whole game, zero strategy guide. lol
Invincible vs. Conquest | Page Jam This is actually a scan because apparently I forgot to take a photo before I shipped this one out. Dumbass me 😂 These are super rough and fast, I lay everything out with marker, then jump straight into color. This whole thing was probably around 90 minutes.

Black Panther Sketchcover From last weeks Whatnot show, every now and then I get one of these older sketch covers from the 2010–2013 era, and man, that coating they used makes these things a real workout to draw on. 😅
Spider-Man 2099 vs Venom 2099 Page Jam This was done live on my Whatnot stream yesterday. This is pretty much how I develop ideas, just loose and spontaneous on the page with no real plan going in. I’ll usually do 6–12 of these for a project, pulling out key moments and figuring out shapes.
Morning Warm-ups: Just a straight-up chroma Page Jam. No grand plan, just drawing Wolverine until the page starts looking like a stack of old X-Men trading cards exploded on my desk.
Just caught episode 2 of Lantern's and I am really digging how much this show trusts the audience. They're letting the story breathe and showing you what's going on with the characters and the world instead of dumping a ton of exposition. Ended up opening the sketchbook for a quick Page Jam.
TMNT / Daredevil Split Sketchcover WIP Alright, lines are done on this one. I’m really digging how the split is coming together, especially with the Daredevil side starting to feel like it belongs right alongside the TMNT side. Now we just gotta get inking & laying in the color.
Vampirella Sketchcover WIP Alright, enough ruffy nonsense. Time to actually slap this thing onto the sketch cover and start throwing some color at it. Now let’s see if I can make this thing look as ridiculous in real life as it does in my head.
