Pretty fly... for a bad guy. Baxter Stockman's one of those villains that's equal parts nightmare fuel and Saturday morning cartoons. I still kinda lean toward the original Mirage Comics version, but I always wished they'd gone all the way and let him become the full-on fly too.

Wrapped up this two-card Skeletor commission. After messing around with some rough sketch card ideas earlier this week, I couldn't stop thinking about that skull staff. It just felt like it needed its own card, so that's what I did. Super fun set. Definitely won't be my last Skeletor. 💀

This is the part I probably nerd out over the most. Distress Ink first, Copics to find the forms, acrylic paint pen to punch the highlights, then colored pencil to dirty it back up. It's all about stacking layers until it starts feeling alive.

Wrapping up a batch sketch cards on my latest Whatnot stream and I think I'm finally locking into this new Chroma style. Had way too much fun drawing Ghost Rider, Jason, Dark Phoenix and Earthworm Jim. 😆 I need to do more monster stuff. Jason, Freddy, Nightmare, horror characters that was a blast.

As a lifelong Savage Dragon nerd, this was a pretty cool one. Huge thanks to Erik Larsen for running my homage in the back of Savage Dragon #280. Seeing my work in its pages is one of those full-circle moments. I even found an excuse to sneak Dragon into Spawn Kills Every Spawn #1. 😅

This one was a lot of fun. Angela has always been my favorite Spawn character (yeah, I said it 😅) While I was working on Spawn Kills Every Spawn, I snuck a few Fangelas into one of the convention crowd scenes as a little wink to longtime Spawn fans. Had a blast drawing this one.
