The recorded death toll from the Ebola outbreak in the DRC is about to cross 1,000 cases. In reality there have likely been a lot more deaths already. Many new cases appear to have no link to known cases, suggesting much of the spread is still happening in the dark.

Do you all remember the hantavirus outbreak on a cruiseship? Honestly, feels like months ago, given what is happening with Ebola Bundibugyo... Anyway, @who.int just put out an update. In case you've lost track, 13 cases have been reported (11 confirmed and 2 probable) and that includes 3 deaths.
