i fell asleep for 3 hours out of nowhere and now i'm mad about it because that's 3 hours i could've been working toward getting groceries lmao but i guess i needed sleep,
did a bunch of (careful) stretches because i figured it probably couldn't hurt my legs more than they already hurt. shit was like pulling taffy. idk why all my leg muscles are deciding to *shorten* from standing so much but they sure feel like they are stretching helped though. got more work done!
fuck i wish painkillers worked on me right now, everything below mid-thigh both legs feels like someone took a sledgehammer to them for hours. pain all the way down to the bones
+: figured out workaround of sorts for busted home button on phone. idk if this is *actually* a positive but whatrver -: in too much pain to stand and lying down isnt helping much, cant continue working today
getting closer to ideal with the watercolor brushes i keep making & tinkering with in krita. also figured out a new trick for the edges (filter layer -> edge detect (set to sobel, 3px, alpha, layer on multiply) that doesn't rely on the still-kinda-buggy photoshop-compatible(???) layer style

i feel like drawing korki again after i get done with this block of work. i missed out on skunktember so it'll just have to be bumped up to skunktober etc
if i draw *every* day i get faster & better at it. a realization i've had dozens of times that i forget the moment i'm kept from drawing for a whole day by something (health or otherwise) maybe if i keep getting faster my *actual* time spent drawing will drop way down to match the time i charge for
i haven't been blocked by aaron rodericks yet but i mostly attribute that to already having blocked him like two years ago
