This month marks 10 years since I joined my D&D club! It’s a privilege to have my local Guild of Adventurers. Not everyone has the organised regularity we do. Most Wednesday nights for 10 years. Thursdays now too! I’ve made such wonderful friends and found-family through it. I LOVE TTRPGs, ya’ll!

Today I finally felt like myself and got over my jet lag! I go home tomorrow. Failed a wisdom and/or constitution check somewhere.

I’m staying with my friends, Patrick and Hannah. Ya’ll, I consider myself a strong, independent lone wolf. But THIS married couple. They’re best friends and it’s the sweetest, coolest relationship I’ve ever seen. I’m also in love with their dogs ❤️ My friends are pretty in cool 😋

Yesterday at the estate sale, I got chatting to the owners because there was an old 50s/60s hairdryer that reminded me of my Nan (she was a hairdresser). They caught me looking at notebooks and such and just ended up giving them to me. It was very sweet. Her mother was a hairdresser too.

I’m going through the photos I’ve taken and I like the telephone poles on Capital Hill that have so many flyers stuck to them, they have to shave them off. Some poles looks like they’re falling down from the weigh of them.

I went to an estate sale today, and wouldn’t you know it, they had a weapon from last night’s Acq Inc game! 😋 Thanks to @cwgabriel.bsky.social @cwtycho.penny-arcade.com and the gang for another awesome show!

We go two sunsets today. Like Tatooine! Daddy two sunsets. Night edging. My favourite part was when the sun got low, and the crescent pinhole projections of the trees elongated and swayed. They began to look like waves or fish scales. Please excuse my slightly excited breathing.
