@kschake.bsky.social , I know this is short notice, but I would be thrilled if you could join us tomorrow to discuss your article in Foreign Affairs. I should have asked much sooner, but it only occurred to me today, after a guest's cancellation: claireberlinski.substack.com/p/when-shoul...

Claire Berlinski shares a great list of Ukrainian information substacks posted by 'Ukraine Rising'. And she's a damned good writer. Substacks seem like a great complement to Bluesky for bigger topics and longer posts. (source: claireberlinski.substack.com) @claireberlinski.bsky.social

The Best Substacks on Ukraine — War, Culture, Politics, and Beyond

A curated guide to essential voices on Ukraine’s struggle, resilience, and recovery.

I'm open to all good ideas about how to raise the salience of this issue. Nothing will be done until the wider public grasps the danger.

The Logic of Catastrophe open.substack.com/pub/clairebe... Nuclear war isn't inevitable, but if we don't mitigate these risks, it approaches it. None of them will be fixed by optimism, fatalism, or denial. It will only be fixed if citizens get serious about this.

The Logic of Catastrophe

Who wants to join our weekly symposium this Sunday? This week's guest will be Terry Glavin, claireberlinski.substack.com/p/introducin... and we'll be asking 1) Has the liberal world order collapsed for good? 2) If so, does Mark Carney show the way forward? It should be really good, do come.

Introducing the Symposium

Please join us on for our inaugural Cosmopolitan Globalist Weekly Symposium on Sunday, when Terry Glavin will join us to ask whether the liberal world order has collapsed for good.

Thank you, Guy. I'm glad people are finally reading this. It didn't seem to attract much interest when I published it, but perhaps the symptoms are now so obvious that readers are more receptive to the argument.

I don’t envy @claireberlinski.bsky.social wading into the fetid swamp that is Trump’s increasing mental deterioration, but I respect her for laying it out in such detail. There is nothing good here (Vance??), but avoidance of the issue is worse, she argues cogently.
