remember in episode 1 when stede is on deck, fully dressed, and is triggered into a childhood flashback? and then when its over, hes in his cabin, waistcoat and jacket gone, clearly dissociating. seems like it isnt uncommon for him dissociate and suddenly find himself somewhere else shrug emoji

cant believe people would make this a dom stede moment. hes literally so puppy dog who just realized he can growl. he thinks hes winning at tug-of-war. he is whimpering with his tail tucked between his legs. he thinks his "yip yip" is terrifying. he needs a chew toy and crate time.

ahem. both takes are correct, but talking about different things. in the world of ofmd, stede is annoying. pretty much everyone he interacts with thinks so, pirate or not. as a character in a tv show, stede is not annoying. (most) viewers arent watching the show and getting irritated bcuz omg -
