I finally saw Hell’s Kitchen but I’m calling it “Midriff the Musical” I mean I get it was the 90s but dammit if I didn’t see everyone’s belly button in that cast 😂 They sang their faces off tho 💅🏾

Rather than start with a firm show concept, we allowed our show to tell us what it wanted to be. What we now have is a show that highlights diverse comedians, champions literacy with free book giveaways and promotes women authors of color. I co-edited this book 💛 Non-fiction graphic novels are such an underrated part of the comic book world in the US. If you’ve seen my posts and thought you could never get into graphic novels, adult non-fiction is a good place to test the waters.

I literally read my first graphic novel 6 years ago. Fast forward to this year, I’m at New York Comic Con selling my creator owned comic in Artist Alley by day and performing stand up comedy at night. I am so blessed that my two worlds were able to collide in this way💅🏾😍 #indiecomics #standupcomedy
