NEW ULTRA QUEUE With Brad gone, we are taking a quick break to watch Walking With Dinosaurs Look. I don't want to hear it. It's a kaiju show, it counts. They do dinosaurs on Ultraman all the time!

NEW ULTRA QUEUE We finished Ultraman Powered! In the end, it was Ultraman Powered. For this finale, we interrogate this show's pick of original Ultraman's episodes, featuring the return of an old list....
Ep 163 - What if Ultraman Broke Up With You? (Ultraman Powered 11-13 | END) | Ultra Queue

NEW ULTRA QUEUE We watched more Ultraman Powered, and there is some disagreement among the hosts as to whether these episodes are kind of ok, or the most boring thing ever. Regardless, I'm sure we can all agree: Rob Roy Fitzgerald
Ep 162 - But Why These Kaiju Specifically? (Ultraman Powered 7-10) | Ultra Queue

NEW ULTRA QUEUE This week, Powered does itself no favours by attempting to remake not one, but two Jissoji classics. Go listen!

Actual banger, I’m like thirty minutes in but I’ve already had to move down my train to avoid laughing/making a scene and having to explain how Tsuburaya think movies are made
Ultra Queue@ultraqueue.bsky.social · 2mo agoNEW ULTRA QUEUE This week we begin ULTRAMAN POWERED. Now, I don't care how optimistic you are about the American Ultraman, you will never ever ever EVER match the hopes and dreams of Tsuburaya Productions
Y’all got good timing on this episode coming out on the 60th anniversary of the first Red King and Pigmon episode

We finished Code Geass! It was honestly a show I'd dismissed a bit out of teen pretentiousness years ago so I had a lot of fun revisiting it.

Mel and Brad joined the good people over at the What'cha Toku-ing About podcast to toku about a Jissoji movie! I wasn't there but I have been informed by trustworthy sources that this is gonna be a good podcast. Go listen!
Ghoul P. Clam aka Gross@alpclam.neocities.org · 2mo agoHey, I do a toku podcast w/ @spiderslash.bsky.social and @rbpstix.bsky.social. We had the @ultraqueue.bsky.social crew on to talk Teito Monogatari, an 80s SFX Japanese blockbuster directed by Ultraman alum Jissoji! It stars a historically accurate robot that fights gremlins. youtu.be/aRxvgQ5PwK4?...
NEW ULTRA QUEUE Gridman is over. We discuss the finale, we review our feelings on the show overall, and we get a little bit sad about the fact Tsuburaya Productions took this success and used it to revive Ultraman instead of making a Gridman sequel Go listen!
Ep 159 - The Kaiju That Close Your Tabs (Gridman 37-39 | END) | Ultra Queue

shows.acast.com
NEW ULTRA QUEUE Somehow Gridman is still full of surprises. This week a vacuum cleaner has been subjected to the greatest green screen effects known to humankind, and it almost overshadows the Takeshi episode. Almost.

NEW ULTRA QUEUE WILD batch this week. Some unfortunate lows, but the highlight is of course the villains turning electronic dog collars into bombs. A Gridman episode can be anything
