Some fairies are born with a snail shell in place of wings. When they feel shy or anxious they can go into their shell. Also they keep nice things that they collect in their shell.
After a session of bamboo jousting, one of kiddo’s friends just said “I don’t think any of us are going to live past 20,” and another one responded “I don’t think any of us can COUNT to 20.” 🤣

I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them." That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.
