Fostering the art of audio storytelling

Ten years ago, Jonathan Zenti tended bar at night so he could make one piece of audio he loved each year. Today he works in audio full time. And he still makes one piece he loves each year. What happened? He went looking for answers in an unlikely place: the Bauhaus. ↓

Live from Woods Hole: the calm before the storytelling. Today, a group of scientists start a 3-day Transom workshop learning to tell the stories behind their research — building to Transom 25: Making Waves this Thurs, a night of true, funny, human science stories told live, hosted by Jay Allison.

Greetings from Interlochen, MI! 🎙️ Our latest Traveling Workshop is underway w/ David Weinberg. Students work on stories about an eerily popular haunted house, a convent caretaker who wasn't cut out to be a nun, and a video-game composer — and gather tape in Traverse City. 📷: Daniel Wanschura
