We join millions of Canadians in mourning the passing of Lloyd Robertson. His media career spanned 6 decades, including 35 years as chief anchor of CTV National News. Lloyd was a beloved and trusted figure in living rooms across the country.

Corus announced they are moving technical production of their shows in Calgary & Edmonton, to Toronto, in a move that will result in more layoffs to the struggling media sector. Local MP Stephanie Kusie put out the following statement and we call on more MP's to follow her lead. #SaveLocalNews
