This is the coolest I'll ever look 😔

Had an eldery man ask me bluntly today why I have a southern twang even though I live in Wisconsin 😅 I am an enigma. (I do feel like I get twangy when I'm tired/my brain is slow.) Me going to the southern US: "Midwesterner!!!!! 👈" Me existing in the Midwest: "Southerner????? 👈"

Still the weirdest time was getting asked "Where are you from????" out of the blue at a con IN WISCONSIN. Like I'm from here??? Do I sound that strange? Should they study me in a lab?

It's been an absolutely bonkers month+ and idk if my life will calm down until after the holidays. 😅 So hopefully someday I'll be back on here making art, apologies for being a stranger in the time being!

Crow and Roops for @lotsodoodles.bsky.social and @vacuousmermaid.bsky.social just for fun! Their characters are so fun to draw 🙂‍↕️ (I was watching lotr when drawing this, hence the dialogue lol)

Literally nothing feels better than the vet tech telling you that your cat is the very best cat she's ever had to do imaging on 😭 10/10 5 star guy!!

I feel what I feel about this year and my productivity/growth but I'm very happy about how much painting I've done! I've missed traditional art so much. 😭

Spouse and I have been house hunting for about 3 months now and this video pretty accurately sums up how it's going lol youtu.be/QjXruQFsV7w?...

Reminds me if COVID because the air is actively hazardous by me because of the wildfire smoke so I'm scurrying between my car and work/home wearing a mask. Meanwhile there's people talking leisurely walks, kids playing outside, and folks driving their convertables with the top down??????

Starting an #ArtFight attack thread! First up was a Revenge for SummerTurnip of their lovely Taelin

Using granulated watercolor feels like cheating because it does all the work for me 😔

I already feel behind but so far Art Fight has been really wholesome and motivating! 🥺 It's so rad to see people of any skill level inspired to create, love to see it!

Damn Science Saru going sicko mode again on the new Ghost in the Shell and it's cool to see. The characters are for sure different but I absolutely adore the retro anime vibe. I'm very excited for more!

Howdy there! I'm joining Art Fight this year on Team Comedy!! artfight.net/~Lotsodoodles I'm going to try to do as much as I can but I apologize in advance if I fall short! 😭

I'm so sorry for being away~ Work got busy and it cooked my brain and left me with not a lot of energies. I hope y'all are hangin in there!! I'm gonna try and participate in Art Fight to get back in the groove of creating stuff 🙏

Dogs (....and cat?)

Work absolutely wrecked me this week because we had a client say "hey you know that project you took 6 weeks to do? Do it again but in only 2 weeks!" 😭 My body is in shambles. So even though I have a colonoscopy on Monday and all that entails I'm lowkey thankful for a day off.

my wife said i had to make a fursona

I just had one of the best pokes of my life (as somebody who gets blood drawn relatively often) I AM UNSTOPPABLE

Having a lot of fun painting this spacey background with my new brush from Japan. That sucker holds SO much water and makes these washes a breeze.

I'm never gonna live down the three separate times this past week traveling to Atlanta that people pointed out my midwest accent. 😭 To me I don't think it's that pronounced but apparently it is????

I miss making art. I miss having time to make art.
