#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week 25 started before the last one ended. Night blended into morning, sleep into shifts. We cooked tons, shot videos, rewrote the menu — then logistics hit. One dish was hot, another missing, the whole line froze. Chaos. 1/2
#MFAkitchenlog2025 week24 The plan? Written. Read? Never. Potatoes wait while dishes get washed, timing slips, portioning spills into the night. Pasta, rice, bacon, desserts — chaos in motion. Some cook, some freeze, some perform drama when corrected. 1/3
#MFAkitchenlog2025 week23 On Monday, while doing inventory, we uncovered quite a few surprises — things “lost” during the previous week. The shift lead was very vocal about it and spent a lot of time re-setting the entire workflow after their predecessors. 1/4
#MFAkitchenlog2025 MAY Over the course of five weeks, we delivered over 74,000 meal portions to the military and packaged nearly the same amount. We faced many challenges: deep cleaning until late at night, record-setting packaging days, improving bread baking and pasta preparation techniques. 1/
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week22 Total packaged: Main courses: 8,288 portions Breakfasts: 3,200 portions Desserts: 1,011 portions This week we survived — sometimes just by willpower, sometimes on pure momentum, but we made it. The hot line was barely breathing without enough people, but 1/6
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week21 Last week was quite intense and difficult. According to the shift supervisor, "it’s been a long time since so much happened in one day — more than during a whole rotation." 1/3
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week20 We delivered 15,458 portions of ready-made meals to the military and packed 15,070 portions. In just half a month, our drivers have already traveled about 30,000 km. 1/3
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week19 This week was a special one for us — we broke our all-time record for the number of packed meals in a single day (check out our previous post if you haven’t seen it yet!). 1/4
Yesterday was our biggest packing day ever — 6,341 portions in total: • Breakfast — 1,093 portions • Turkey cutlet with buckwheat — 1,043 portions • Bolognese with pasta — 1,055 portions • Pork loin in bacon with pasta — 1,032 portions 1/3
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week18 • We delivered 14,449 ready to eat meals for our units • packed 14,725 portions. @chefzhenya.bsky.social arrived, which means: - we did a deep clean until 3:49 AM, and continued the next day until 2:10 AM (a so-called "short day") 1/3
In April, we managed to do even more: – delivered 59,472 ready to eat meals for our units (3,825 more than in March) – packed 61,065 portions (3,199 more than in March) – logistics route was over 29,831 km. These are our highest numbers for meal portions so far. 1/3

Family meal: miso soup, rice, shibazuke, eal and tuna. All that was missing is our good friends from japan who sent these treats!

Since 2022, we’ve been regularly receiving food parcels from Helen. Helen Garbuz is an American who has been living in Ukraine for over 20 years. Together with her husband, they bought land here and built a farm in the American style. They grow vegetables that are not so common for us. 1/3
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week15 - we delivered 13,418 ready to eat meals for our units - packed 13,826 portions - logistics route was over 8,210 km. Nothing drastically new: Thursday is still our biggest packing day, and Wednesday is all about preparing for it. 1/5
Bread 🍞 In spring 2022, when we were still feeding defenders in Kyiv, a bakery used to bake bread for us. In May, we moved to Zaporizhzhia, and at first, we were buying bread from Metro (wholesale and retail store). 1/3
#MFAkitchenlog2025 Week14 Week 14 of 2025: - we delivered 12,945 ready to eat meals for our units - packed 13,107 portions - logistics route was over 5,668 km. Last week, the production was impressive with minimal delays. 1/4
Muffins for our units 🧁 Not 50, not 100, and not even 500. 102 kg of cream and 913 muffins in 10-11 hours by two cooks. That's our level. But we can do even more 💪🏻
