People like Kane and many many others that do care about human art and the creative process have been a beacon of hope while trying to navigate making art in this current climate.

Interviewer: I read that you do not want to embrace Al.
Kane: Absolutely not.
For me the whole point of doing what I'm doing-art is a way of processing life. I don't see the value in outsourcing any element of that.
When I'm looking at someone else's project, if I see an element of the environment [where] they use generative fill or whatever to change something about the scene, it just shuts off the part of my brain that wants to know more about that world. Because I would assume if they're willing to make an arbitrary choice there, they could make an arbitrary choice with literally anything.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:wk7ktvs3sld47pgfndy43gyp/bafkreid3oivudz5p3kmcuu6ss3gr2tmy73r3uqe3ljh6h5rxbeax2dcme4)
Been ages since I've last put anything into canvas Figured it'd not be the worst time to doodle up this 'rine not for his birthday month, even if I'm over 2 weeks late XD; Don't got any social media sites logged in on the desktop, so a snapshot through the phone will do
@adabune.bsky.social Has done so many surprise birthday gifts for me over the years, so this year I needed to ensure I did some surprise art for him. And since I've been working on making a bunch of FF Tactics inspired sprites... I did him up as one. Happy birthday, Bune.
Haven't been doing much art wise, trying to make ends meet, but figured it'd be good to remember some of the OCs I have under my belt once in a while :) This one's for my Balinese Asian Palm Civet boy, Aditya Anggun, for his b'day (3rd Sept') and 10th creation anniversary
Semi-refined sketch for one of my boys, Chase, for his 33rd B'day :3 It's really been a while, with Adi's pic being done last September. Kinda forgot how to draw, so winged this one while being in a state of lack of rest XD; Wish to have the time to do more with my boys x.x Tired orz
I realized recently that I've had a version of my sona drawn for almost every single Chinese Zodiac animal. Once I have a job again, I want to get the final 3 created. Art courtesy of @adabune.bsky.social, @gingintigtig.bsky.social, and @tacorat.com

#summaryofart2024 #summaryofart It's been quite a turbulent year, but thank you all for sticking around, crazy to think that we've reached 10k on Twitter! I've experimented so many things that looking back makes me smile, I want to draw even more in 2025!

AI Art could never replicate the sheer joy it is to talk about an idea with an artist and watch them bring it to life. I can't really make any decent art, but seeing a real human create and flex their skills from your ideas will always be more emotionally fulfilling.
hello! here's an older piece with Krhainos, Pushbak, and I to kick this space off 😺
Friendly reminder that if you see someone insist staying on Twitter/X, please don't be pushy and toxic to them, they have their reasons, respect that and leave them be
