Archeologists have uncovered two breathtaking, intricately carved mammoth ivory bird figurines from the Hohle Fels Cave in Germany. The newly discovered tiny Ice Age birds, one resting, one with wings outstretched, date back 40,000 years and weigh under 2 grams each.

Flowers’ closing time: bee lurches
Across the hayfield, singing
And feeling its drunken way
Round the air’s invisible corners.

And grass is grace. And charlock
Is gold of its own bounty.
The broken chair by the wall
Is one with immortal landscapes.

Something has been completed
That everything is part of,
Something that will go on
Being completed forever.

This was my thinking - Android->Bladerunner->1940s Film Noir->Classic Hollywood photos. That's why there's loads of airbrush which I don't usually go near. So this is a monochrome portrait shot of a young beautiful woman in a stylish hat with a peacock feather.

Handsome elf man takes a beautiful woman in his arms and dances the tango which is the sexiest dance no arguments. Tango dancers please do not kill me the pose is based on the entire first two pages you get when you put in 'Argentine tango' into image search so is probably not correctly depicted. Also it includes an elf man maybe that's how they do it over there.

They are both wearing blue and purple hues. The woman has a ridiculously long semi-opaque skirt billowing out behind her likes she's in a movie or something.

June 24th is Make a Terrible Comic Day. I have made a truly awful comic during my lunch break. It's too hot. #makeaterriblecomicday2026 I did step out the door earlier and then regret it.

A terribly drawn comic in which I step out the door and am immediately burnt to a crisp by the evil sun. Comics me is about 30 years younger than real me, there is no need to frighten people.

This is well worth your time. This comic is dream-like, impressionistic, sophisticated. I feel like I am dropped in this complicated world without a guidebook. The artwork is so elegant. I love how ‪@decassette.bsky.social‬ uses negative space. It's beautiful.
