Give credit to Hull city they are plugging up the middle of field and denying clean access to Bruno. The two set pieces were bound to happen as that’s Hull strength. We do need a focal point up top to pull the CB apart as they are too stagnate and are being forced to move
At this point get rid of VAR and just bring in the challenge system.

Also before the 3rd goal is given up, I just feel like if Pulisic doesn’t try and gut it out and just sits down. The refs has to blow his whistle and it just slows the game down. I get it he has adrenaline flowing right there but this is bigger than you my guy.
My biggest reservations with Poch is I just feel like he is waiting it out for a higher job and idk if he is wanting to wait till 2030 for another chance
Two things can be true Yes, they disappointed on a big stage But This probably the most like-able team in 12 years

If we had the 2014 Belgium loss (a hero kept us in) or the Canada or Mexico losses this year (played well in spurts), we'd be fine. The takeaway would've been we can play good soccer and got taken by a better team. This. Theres no hiding from an egg like this. It underlines all negatives before.

Once again maybe I am just bitter at the moment but just scoreline and HOW we gave up the goals feels deflating. Like if we lose 2-1 maybe I feel different but how goal 3 happen just killed it
Jason Davis@davisjason.bsky.social · 2mo agoI do think it's a decidedly American soccer thing to win three games at the World Cup with a team that hasn't done anything of note on the world stage in its history and think one terrible game at the end means none of it mattered or it's not worth being proud of.
