walking around the overnight venue at 5:30 am saying 'good morning' to everyone and half of them respond 'what?' with the coldest, deadest eyes you could imagine. this shit is great. these people never learned about sleep. these are the real grinders.
I've been to like 11 major splatoon lans and Genesis X was an event like no other. Don't get me wrong - all lans have their merits, but some of my favorite memories were from genesis. Don't overlook this one!!! Especially if youre a partier!!

Last night I reconnected with my local Killer Queen scene and it turns out they meet weekly for practice and do a monthly tournament! STL might not have a Splatoon local, but the KQ scene is crazy out here. Lucky me!

Oh also bamboozler shots should bounce around angle shooter style but it does a little less damage with each bounce that'd be so sick and cool and people would play it more.
People talk about various ways of growing the scene through content or whatever and that's all cool and good but I think the explosive growth of locals over the last few years are going to do more in the long run than anything else.

what im seeing is that fromsoftware got a nintendo exclusive and they decided to make kirby air ride souls. thats so crazy.
carbon stocks are up tho. I think Zooka buff is gonna be a bigger deal than expected for mid & low level tbh. Personally I was already happy in this meta but the patch only makes me happier I think
I do think the "how to make friends at riptide" guides are very funny, bc social guides that cater to a wide audience are hard to write. If you're the type of person who is comfortable walking up and talking with someone who has been standing alone for five minutes, then just do that.
