Gin drinking, bipolar delight. Maybe.

CW: BDSM After the drop begins to settle, I am left with such an encompassing feeling of calm and belonging. It is a beautiful experience. In the past, it has been more of a feeling of being adrift.

World Mental Health Day. As many know, I live with bipolar and it is not easy. My wish for today is that people make seeking help encouraged and reduce the stigma. Please remember that some conditions may be managed but never fixed. A rough time is not a failure.

Why do I always feel the need to add a disclaimer that I will be OK to minimise their worry. I dont think it is helpful. Today, I am struggling. I wish that I had said that.

I adore the buzz of nerves when I am going to have an amazing experience. They happen a lot recently. Tomorrow, I'm going to have so many of my buttons pressed in an exquisite session. I am aching with need and fear in the best ways. When asked what I want from tomorrow, I said to make him proud

I have totally lost track of which day it is. Four of today's meetings have changed times etc. And I have been landed with doing training tomorrow which I now need to prep. Please tweak the earthly powers of luck so that i can just dump work and do things that make me grin.

Interesting conversation at work. Line manager was encouraging me to share a wellbeing thing that I am doing that is also fundraising. I said that I would think about it but sharing the fundraiser would probably out me and some people are cunts.

This morning finds me on a podium, overseeing an event and my mind is full of love, passion, what happened yesterday, what will happen today and tomorrow. I am a lucky little bitch.

Somebody asked me whether my hair colour, piercings and tattoos were because I am creative or because of being bipolar. What a weird question. I am creative (sometimes). I am bipolar. Both things are a part of me and you can't separate them out.
