I truly hate political discourse being reduced to a left/right binary. Not just because it kills nuance, but because it forces people to think of ideology in terms of degree rather than kind. I think this is part of how we've ended up with hyper-conservative puritanism infiltrating leftist spaces
I 100% believe that modern attitudes towards sex are some of the most regressive and insane cultural norms the human race has ever created. Hopefully future generations will look back in bemused disgust at how socially primitive we were.

Current project is going in a very different direction (some convergence of romantasy/paranormal romance/horror/dark academia) and I'm wondering if it might be best practice to splinter into a pen name. I want to switch up my whole publishing process so could be a good opportunity for a full rethink
I know 'mantasy' sounds silly, but I do think authors like Weir and Dinniman are writing very 'dad-focused' SFF. Books for the everyman who likes cars and football, rather than the subcultural nerd niche types who are the usual audience for genre fiction. 1/2
