It took me prolonged close interaction with several people who had serious mental health issues before I truly realized this. There's some gradient of how much you should prethink wording if you want it to reach a wide audience, but it's healthy to know there is also such a thing as too much.

Just to reclarify, this is NOT saying whether a con is good or bad, only whether they are meeting the bare minimum requirements of even having a policy. Cons can easily write a good policy that they have no intention of enforcing! And some cons may handle harassment well, but not have it written.
