A week ago at Dragoncon I met Richard Garriott at a panel about his new Ultima game. Long story short he wants to use AI. He already has for concept art and ChatGPT generated fantasy language. I wrote an account with the hope that this could spread to the right people. Please pass this along.

I stop eating at businesses that use AI in the art/signs. I downvote games that disclose using genAI in their creative processes. I have responded point-blank to clients asking for me to voice in something - who admit upfront to AI placeholders - I won’t even touch it until it’s completely AI-free

Please be vocal about not using AI. We have to normalize it. No "I'm not going to say that because it should be assumed. I'm not going to give them this". We don't have time for that shit ideological shit right now. NOW is the time to capitalize on waning favorability. Ppl want human made

Man I've missed mapping so much. Trying to recreate the Hallow Bastion's entryway in Quake. I'm used to Hammer, but Trenchbroom makes for a fun tool. I like all its shortcuts for playing with brushes. Feels really intuitive.
