Day 1116 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinylsky #vinyl A collection of work tapes/demos refreshed a couple decades after being recorded by original band members. Nothing here is as exciting as the music on their two albums, but it isn't a disappointment. I enjoyed hearing Lone Justice again.

Day 1115 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinylsky #vinyl A surprisingly strong 1981 set from Grand Ole Opry star Charlie Louvin. I wasn't expecting his voice to be as intact here as it is- much better than his later recordings. A fine $2.50 investment earlier this summer.

Day 1457 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge #MusicSky #Bluegrass Not many bluegrass bands can point to fifty years of history. Greg Cahill's consistently impressive Special Consensus certainly can.

CD covers- Route 20, Signs, The Trail of Aching Hearts, Everthing's Alright

Day 1456 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge #MusicSky #Bluegrass A final pair from Mr. Sparks including my first (The Coldest Part of Winter) and one he signed for me. Also, a 'new-to-me' Green Rolling Hills from the Special C as well as my first Special Consensus collection- that was a fine lineup.

Day 1114 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinylsky #vinyl Triple-vinyl (red, white, & blue) hardbound slipcase edition of The Who Live at the Isle of Wight 1970. The first and third albums may be my favourite live recordings of The Who. Reminder why The Who have been my favourite band since 1978.

Day 1113 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinylsky #vinyl Until I spotted this copy of Jane Siberry's debut album @ Dead Vinyl Society Bring Out Your Dead sale weekend prior to last, I had forgot it existed. Made the decision to purchase almost immediately. Unfortunately, missing lyric sheet.
