my mi’gmaw father was killed on march 23, 1976 at his place of employment. i was 7 mos. old. i never even really, like for real real knew what he looked like until my aunt bridget found this ID card a *couple of days ago.* seeing him as my mom knew him—so much of my son in his face, is bittersweet.
