I just bought my second Switch 2 game of the year. Orbitals. With my own money. Will be reviewing it for the October issue of @debugmag.com with a special focus on the art direction. It looks amazing! One of the huge benefits of print media is the ability to show off high quality visuals 🥰

We were half way through doing a story about a game, and the entire team have just been laid off. I wish I could say this was an uncommon situation, but it’s happened a few times lately!

This BBC article was nice to wake up to this morning! All photos were taken at our recent Indie Showcase (part of NottsVGE) in Nottingham, and @debugmag.com events manager Alex Hunt is quoted about the importance of championing indies. I truly love that we can continue to host these showcases 🥰

Even though it can be tiring, I am so grateful that I am able to travel around the world with my brother Nick, talking to game developers about their work for @debugmag.com There aren’t many people who can claim such fulfilment in their work, and I don’t take it for granted! Next month: Germany

I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but the cover of Debug #17 is quite possibly the coolest thing ever 🤩 I’m super excited about what we’ve got planned over the next twelve months!
