the true spooky part of Forbidden Solitaire is how much Lucas reminded me of some of my worst bosses, and gave me shudders. @writnelson.bsky.social (Lucas' VA) absolutely nailed the smarmy blend of toxic positivity and domineering (also this is genuinely a fun little game for October, go play it)

Something I think I really like about Zach Cregger’s films is that he’s very good at using novel perspectives to change up typical horror scenarios. Like just shifting the perspective of a scene we’ve seen a million times or just seeing the aftermath keeps it fresh and relatable.
Finally I’ll be able to properly watch my favorite ‘elevated horror’ films, but ending with Cryptkeeper outros as God intended. “Guess her boyfriend could BEARLY contain his excitement for her new outlook on life!” “Guess she BABA-SHOULD keep feeding her grief!” “POSSESSOR? I hardly know her!”
