It’s official! After years of hard work by IPBES experts, the #BizBiodiversity Assessment Report is approved by the Plenary at #IPBES12! Congratulations to all on this achievement for people and #nature! Thank you to all who contributed to this successful outcome.

This morning at #IPBES12 🌍🧪 Delegates and observers meet in the main hall of Manchester Central for the opening ceremony of #IPBES12. Once a train station connecting Manchester to the rest of the world, today it opens the session that will culminate in the #BizBiodiversity report launch.

⏳ 60 days until #IPBES12! IPBES first 'fast-track' assessment report on business & biodiversity is planned to launch in February 2026. The #BizBiodiversity report will provide authoritative evidence on how businesses depend on and impact nature. 📍 Manchester, UK | 3–8 February 2026
