As the weather gets cooler, damp and mould become more and more prevalent as warm air from daily life, such as cooking, washing and breathing, meets cold air forming condensation. With less air flow due to closed windows to keep warm, moisture becomes trapped inside, worsening these issues.

28% of people reported living in a home that has problems with damp, mould or cold

Lots of us will be preparing to host family or visit the homes of loved ones for the festive season. But millions of us live with issues like damp, mould and cold – and it doesn’t go away for Christmas. We took to the streets with Kwajo Tweneboa to see what Londoners think needs to change. 👇️

Kerry’s home should have been her safe space after years without one. Instead, it made her ill — and then she became homeless again. Kerry shared her story as part of our Hazmat Loungewear campaign, which was featured in the Metro this week. 👇️
