I love freelancing. It gives me a lot of freedom to work around my kids schedule and my audhd brain. But sometimes I REALLY miss working on a collaborative team in a room together. I also really miss the salary.

My children are out of school this week, Ive attempted to start CPAP therapy, I’ve been helping my partner get her house ready to sell, my Battletech hyperfocus has only gotten worse, and I’m somehow supposed to get caught up on work. I need more hours in the day and more energy 😅
#mechtober day3! Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries was my intro to Battletech and still one of my all-time favorite games. I quickly followed it up with the core game and the other expansions, original MW, and both Crescent Hawk games. Been hooked ever since.

Building a Lance for my first public Battletech game in nearly 30 years at my FLGS. Surprisingly difficult to hit the BV and setting guidelines when most of my minis are Medium-Assault from a smattering of factions. I'm gonna have to run as Mercenaries, but I think I figured it out.

Welp it’s happening. I’m writing fan fiction because of a hyper-focus. I have a full outline for a ‘coming of age story’ ala Stand By Me/Sandlot set in the Battletech universe. No clue if I’ll finish it. No clue if I’ll post it. It will probably suck. It’s happening whether or not I want it to. 😅
