Very saddened to hear this. I never met Edward Champlin, but I’ve engaged with his seminal work on Roman wills for many years now and always hoped to meet him one day.

It was wonderful to launch the Adelaide Chapter of Australasian Women in Ancient World Studies #AWAWS last night w. @emchambs.bsky.social & @gemmaneall.bsky.social We had people from 5 unis at from a range of disciplines and career stages. Can't wait to see how this community grows!
