Welp. After putting it off for a number of years, I finally watched the new Trigun. The second season got an audible "Oh, go fuck yourself" from me and I think that's a pretty good encapsulation of my thoughts about it.

Being a cartoonist sometimes implies taking time off your graphic novel just so you can draw something else for once. Retro sci-fi/cassette futurism, especially of the anime kind, is very nostalgic to me.
