I don't know why the beholder hangs out in this dungeon, she barely fits... This watercolour and ink artwork is available on my website. I've only ever drawn one beholder this awkward so move fast.

I'm doing a talk on Mystery Under Magi-mart this sunday! And am excited to see all these other presentations.

3️⃣ Dykesommar, by @lasticotdelespace.bsky.social, is about rapturous change, tackling the precarity of queer legacy and the new worlds we build in the shell of the old. 4️⃣ @bodieh.bsky.social Slowquest's “pick-your-path” adventure books upend the world you thought you knew on every page.

Two figures stand in the water near a beach shore. They are deep in conversation.

My biggest project yet was released this year, it's a chunky little pick-your-path adventure book. Each of the 150+ pages has goofy fantasy artwork and CHOICES TO BE MADE! I'm incredibly proud of Mystery Under Magi-mart. If it sounds cool, you can get yourself a copy on my website :).

Where there's big mushroom guys, there's probably little mushroom guys... which you should probably keep an eye on too. These little buddies feature in my adventure 'Cave of the Snail Gods'. On Patreon now.

A glove which grants immortality to the wearer... or very specifically the wearer's hand. My favourite character in the adventure I made 'Cave of the Snail Gods', currently available on my Patreon.

These snails are sweet little harmless cuties, unless you let them crawl on you (burning acid slime) or crack their delicate shell (highly explosive). They feature in my adventure 'Cave of the Snail Gods', currently on my Patreon.

A big bird with big claws for grabbin' big snacks (most likely you). This feathery fiend is from my adventure 'Cave of the Snail Gods', found on my Patreon page.

The first adventure I released this year: Cave of the Snail Gods. With the new year I tweaked how I make my adventures, in both visual style and the way I write them. It's lead to some of my favourite adventures so far.

The first mini zine I made in this series was 'a pick of peculiar publications'. Which contains a small collection of rather unusual books you might find on a shelf while exploring a fantasy world. This is available on the Slowquest patreon.

This year i've been making a mini zine every month for patreon, it's either Doors Doors Doors (a zine of dungeon doors), or the Nifty People Codex, which features little bios of characters that might pop up in your fantasy worlds. Each one features a little bio, plus some items they have.

Name: The Captain's Chair Do I like Star Trek? Yes I do. Does this dungeon door have anything to do with it? Maybe very slightly, but I'm not going to tell how. Who doesn't love an old secret swivelly wall door? If those people exist I don't want to be their friend, what an unwhimsical way to be.

Bild

Name: Port Star Portal Ooh, a nautical themed door! How fun. I like to imagine behind this one there's just a room full of sea water. Also some treasure but you're washed so far back through the dungeon that you might not even feel like going all the way back to the room for it.

Bild

Name: Pur-Gate-Ory Okay now i'm confident THIS is the best door name i've come up with so far, and maybe i've peaked but i'm okay with it. This sure is a pretty door as well. Would you put it in dungeon? Yes you would, I know you would.
