Wandering around RHS Wisley today the kniphofia ( Red Hot Pokers) were some of the stand out plants adding dashes of colour after the hot and dry summer. 🌱 #Gardening #BloomScrolling

Yummy I finally get to eat the lovely beef tomatoes that I have been growing in my garden. They have taken ages to ripen but I shall feast for the next couple of weeks. 🌱 #gardening #GrowYourOwn
I love the way the morning sun illuminates the hairs on this bumble bee and the flower that it is feeding on. #InsectThursday #Macro #MacroPhotography #Bee #WeeBee #ECK 🌱 #Gardening 🐝😁
Loneliness hits neurodivergent people hard and mainstream apps often miss the mark. Holly Fowler built Wable to connect dates, friends, and jobs with safety and support baked in. Would you try a platform built for unmasking? #AXSChat
Pottering around the garden this morning was a pleasure before getting stuck into work. I love the look of the fruits on my strawberry trees. The taste is sweet but the texture is grainy like an overripe pear. 🌱 #gardening
A couple of impressive red deer stags that I passed on a recent walk in Richmond Park.

After the rain the garden feels fresh and it’s a joy to observe bees going about their business. 🌱 #gardening
Thank goodness for the rain 🌧️ finally my garden is getting a drink. My plants were all desperately in need of the water.

Caregiver creep: how helping elderly relatives can snowball into a full-time job
Assisting an ageing loved one can start with small tasks but may lead to full-time caregiving that requires more support

I’m so glad that we got to interview @makotoueki.bsky.social for #AXSChat podcast. Japan is the most super aged country on earth and so #accessibility is ever more important to enable an aging population to live well.
Most British thing ever is for the day it becomes legal to fit solar extremely easily to your home is the day the sun finally disappears after three months.
It's plug-in solar day! You can now buy your own balcony/garden solar set-ups in GB (not NI) and install them without an electrician, provided the devices are 'compliant'. Let me know if anyone here is planning to do it and how you get on

I woke up this morning to the sunrise rising over misty fields whilst it’s not quite autumn there are hints from the end of summer. No doubt within a few days and another heat wave will come along but for now it is cooler. #gardening #sunrise 🌱
Bright yellow sunflowers in my back garden are some of the few plants that seem to be thriving despite the hot and dry weather. 🌱 #gardening
This young fox spotted on my walk around Wisley yesterday was incredibly tame. I think it must be all the tourists and their snacks that made him so unfazed by humans. #Nature #fox #Photography

Garden update. The garden is getting closer to a Mediterranean back yard than a traditional british one 🌱 #Gardening
Taken a couple of weeks back before all my plants dried to a crisp the flower spikes on New Zealand Flax plants are spectacular and the bees love them. #gardening 🌱

The hosepipe ban and hot weather in the UK have made a huge contribution to me getting my steps in early. 4km with a watering can this morning, trying to keep my garden alive in the extreme heat. #gardening 🌱

It’s a sign of how extreme the weather has been in the UK this summer. We are at the beginning of August and the leaves on the Robinia tree in my front garden have turned autumnal yellow overnight. 🌱 #Gardening #Heatwave

These robots are big and the pistons on the arms and legs are beefy. I would not want to get in the way of one of these and that gives me real pause for thought. #ai #robotics #TeslaOptimus
I was in East Sheen today wandering around and spotted this glorious display of flowers covering a fore escape or side entrance to a flat above one of the shops on the high street. It just shows you can garden anywhere. 🌱 #gardening
One underdiscussed concern: accessibility. Keyboard-only users, people using eye-trackers, those with non-standard input methods — their interaction patterns will look nothing like typical mouse and keyboard behavior. Behavioral analysis can't tell intent from disability.
