There's a small lizard in my office since a few days. Every time I come in he runs off in sheer panic to god knows where with the cutest little wobbly toes that must walk around on this earth. And me googling how do lizards stay hydrated.

Normally I just appreciatively read @jamellebouie.net 's columns-sharable video content just isn't my bag. But this is a very, very, very trenchant piece of commentary that captures a lot of how I increasingly understand the disjunction between the commentary environment and on-the-ground politics.

It‘s still insane to me that there are men (maybe also women) who are forever enraged by the disappointment that a woman they had thought of as inferior (not my words) is, in fact, not. And willing to use whatever they can to backstab you, while you just go about your business like it’s Tuesday.
Every time I get caught up in the silliness of bureaucracy or the frustration of evaluating AI generated texts I regain inspiration by reading some spectacular work written by one of you. Following your arguments and evidence is so regenerating, I cannot imagine one lets AI do the reading. 🫶
