“What is this silence?” Was a dream to see Euripides’ ALCESTIS at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus. I laughed (at Hercules), cried (with the passionate Chorus) and left with some pretty tragic feelings (“The world is ending…Everything is violence.”). Not bad for a Satyr play!
