pspsps i’m in @coloursofthegate.bsky.social’s Vol 2! 🌈 🌈 i wrote a lil Lakrissa/Alfira fic that i’m so hyped to share with y’all. grab this along with 200+ pages of amazing queer art and stories—all you gotta do to get it is donate FIVE WHOLE DOLLARS to one of three fantastic charities! 🧡🤍🩷

Alfira’s grin is like the sun in that it sets Lakrissa’s face on fire. “How did you?” She stops herself and shakes her head. “Never mind. Probably best if you don’t say.”
Lakrissa winks, cheekily as she can. “Well, ladies have to keep some secrets.”
Alfira laughs brightly. Then something else seems to click for her. “Hang on. That’s two tickets.”
“Of course. You know I charge finder’s fees.”
“But I thought you didn’t like Marriage at all.”
Lakrissa waves a dismissive hand. “I’ll survive one performance. Besides, it’s the fireworks at the end I’m really going for.”
“Fireworks,” echoes Alfira. For the briefest moment she seems suddenly far away, almost like when she’s deep in composing. Lakrissa remembers the many hours spent on The Weeping Dawn. Then the look is gone, replaced again by that dazzling grin. “Right. So! When shall we two meet again?”

Here's a sneak peak of my piece for @coloursofthegate.bsky.social zine! Shadowheart gets along just fine with the crew. Mostly. Aside from a pressing need to maim Lae'zel. The zine's open for preorders, so grab a copy! #bg3 #baldursgatethree

“Are you sure you want this?” Lae’zel asked, her wiry body tense and ready to leap. She held her dagger loosely. “It is surprisingly easy to get maimed in mock battles.”
“That’s true,” Shadowheart agreed, studying her form for any weak points. Tav had only asked that they not murder each other with no mentions of bloodshed or other violence. "All it takes is a little slip and you might lose an arm. Or more.”
Lae’zel laughed, a harsh sound. “You’ve got guts. A pity you aren’t Githyanki.”
Shadowheart’s lips pulled back to a tight snarl. “A pity that you are.
Perched on a nearby log, Astarion stage-whispered to the rest of their crew, “Ten gold says Lae’zel kills her.”
