Transphobia is a cancer of the heart and mind. It is a useless fear, based on ignorance and cruelty. Trans people are not responsible for a single one of the problems we face. Do the world a favor and grow the fuck up.

I wish I could shit on game companies more but literally every media company is incapable of making anything now. It takes 4-6 years to make 8 episodes of television and there's no reason it should beyond a managerial class that is both wildly egotistical and completely useless

Hey friends, can I ask you all to give our @littleghostsbooks.bsky.social Crowdfundr a look? Any amount helps us with our workspace renovation plans, if you're not able (which I understand!), if you could share the link that would be amazing. Love you all! 🤗🧡 👻📚 crowdfundr.com/littleghosts...

No bullshit, started watching that Sheep Detectives trailer and thought it was the new Animal Farm trailer I still haven't seen. I think I'm gonna become obsessed with Sheep Detectives. Like it was beamed here from a better dimension.

It was definitely cracking already, for too many reasons to list here, but the final blow came from watching The People's Joker over discord w/ an international group of trans women near my age, all of whom transitioned around or after age 30.

TRANS WOMEN OF BLUESKY: What was your egg cracking moment? When did you know you were trans? What made you realize? And did you know you were a woman right away, or did you pass through other identities first

I wonder what a real AI will say when they find out what a shit show it is trying to bring them into existence. Would they consider the cost to the environment, to our social fabric, and if it's all is a mistake or what. Can a robot dream of existentialism? Might be a story in there somewhere.

Capitalism decided money was speech and more money meant more access to speech, that money is legitimacy and respectability and accuracy, and then it asks us to engage in good faith with “the news”. They made cynicism a survival strategy. This is a death spiral.

Congrats to bit66 on featuring in #SteamNextFest ! A great client whose game I can't wait to play. This game features assets (character sprites, tilesets, props, and portraits) from my Retro Cybercity asset packs on itch.

I think one of the problems with the plea to be able to use LLMs w/o rejection is to do with the end goal. These are people who want attention or they'd just use AI and stfu (as many ppl do). They don't want to for the fun of it, they want to get attention and make $$$ and they want that to be ok.

Honestly this is an excuse. I know plenty of people who are not “naturally gifted” who do art. It requires effort to learn. I feel you did not approach it correctly or think things happen over night. Also hard work and skill is not “naturally gifted” as that undermines their efforts to draw. 1/2

"Centrism" is just a refusal to engage with ideas, context, or facts. The whole ideology, if you want to call it that, is flat and empty b/c it operates on the cosmic certainty that the truth is always in the middle and from this vantage, it can wave at literally anything and say it is extreme.

Expedition 33's catchy line "for those who come after" is something I think about a lot. I think about it when I ask myself, or I am asked, "why do you do it?" where "it" refers to transition in a world that meets us w/ hardship, horror, bigotry, and abuse. Well. For those who come after is why.

Got through my first Roller Derby "fresh meat" practice as a 39 year old who hasn't put on any kind of skates in 10+ years, rollerskates since I was 8 or 9, and who always wanted to Derby and never realized it actually had open gender teams/leagues back when I was a fella. Dreams still come true?
