Probably unintentionally, the Trump administration played the perfect strategy for our broken media and "opposition" party. They did all the most boisterous, spectacle-driven stuff early and now that they're just casually running an immigrant exterminationist regime the press is bored by it.

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.

Dolly Parton was incredibly cruel to me and me alone. She said she simply needed an outlet and I was that outlet, and she’d even apologize after hiding dead fish in my apartment or selling my identity to hackers. I’d never say it at the time but it was the honor of a lifetime
