Today we marked 97 years since women won the vote on equal terms with men with a commemorative photocall of women MP. Each MP received a personalised sash by Remake Newport, marking their place in the history of #WomenInParliament.

Yesterday marked 97 years since women won the right to vote on equal terms with men. It was an honour to wear this beautiful suffragette sash, gifted by @centenaryaction.bsky.social Action & crafted by Re:make Newport. A powerful symbol of how far we’ve come & a reminder of the work still to do.

It was great to be invited to St Peters & St Paul's church in Shorne this weekend! Thank you to Rev. Hurst for hosting & to those who made this event possible, local community events like this are at the heartbeat of our communities.

I had the privilege of speaking to the BBC about the incredible work of the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund — a local organisation doing vital work to support young people’s #mentalhealth. Every young person deserves access to the right support, at the right time.

Today on #WorldMalariaDay, we shine a spotlight on a disease that continues to claim over 600,000 lives each year — most of them children. #Malaria is both preventable and treatable, yet it remains a leading cause of death in many parts of the world. #EndMalaria #WorldMalariaDay2025

This week, I had the honour of attending an event hosted by the Benedict Blythe Foundation to raise awareness about the urgent need for safer environments for children with allergies and other hidden health conditions.

I would like to wish a Happy Vaisakhi to all! 🙏 It was truly wonderful to join the vibrant Vaisakhi Day parade and festival here in Gravesend. Seeing our whole town come together in celebration was nothing short of inspiring & it showed Gravesham at its absolute best!
