Migrating to Blacksky messed up my account somehow - I can't edit my profile, and any images I've posted don't load any more.
Remember when Strong Bad drank soy sauce and tried to fly Bubs' concession stand?
Check out this animation list I made on Letterboxd! letterboxd.com/ryokohakubi/...
A Comprehensive Animation List
This list (which will be updated as frequently as I can) focuses on animation, from television to feature films to OVAs and shorts; I'll try to be as comprehensive as possible, including international productions from across history.

I'm reflecting on the '80s shows I own copies of - I know I have ALF, Murder She Wrote, The Greatest American Hero, The A-Team, Magnum P.I., He-Man, Thundercats, TMNT and Simon and Simon
And another bill put me back in the red 🫠 any help is appreciated 🙏

Kirumade applied to international cons using my name with an email that looked like mine. This is NOT my email as they created a whole new one.
alice_mation@alicemation.bsky.social · 5d agoARTIST PSA! Kirumade is targeting small artists and not paying what they are owed. This video goes into more detail about the shady goings on and lists their sister companies at the end Please share with your art friends! youtu.be/lKFqlS9wO90?...

#mutualsky I still haven't covered enough to cover for the blood test, which is going to be next week. I'll open comms again if need be, but if I can get shares for this I'd appreciate it so much!
Red (alright alright alright)@redhojelah.bsky.social · 3w agoDeleted it earlier bc I felt off, but I realise I do need help in the meantime: I'm saving up for a blood test in October as well as wanting to pay for an overdue phone bill. We are at $258/300, so anything helps: ko-fi.com/xemnenas
Im not one to tag people but as the big art community guy here @davis.social could you boost this please? More than one boost. They have only 3 days left and bsky is not coming together much to help and they are shit out of luck as it is. Serious medical emergency being ignored.

Remember to not give the HP show any attention; the creator of the franchise is a hateful bigot, and she'll likely use whatever profit she earns from the show to continue endangering the trans community.
Nostalgia is an interesting phenomenon, in that people who reminisce about the past can forget how bigoted earlier eras were; you can enjoy media from a decade, but bear in mind a lot of prejudices were still prevalent back in the day.
I have a very large bill that keeps bouncing and I'm so nervous about ending up in the negative. If anyone can help, I need about $160 Please and thank you. ko-fi.com/beverlyannem... #helpsky #helpfolkslive2026 #mutualaid #maboost 💕💸

One of the albums Shadowfax released has a song titled “Oriental Eyes,” which unfortunately sounds kinda racist.
Remember to preserve whatever media you can - we don’t want a repeat of what happened to silent cinema (where approximately 70% of silent films are considered lost).
Almost forgot to mention: I wrote a blog post the other day. animecommentaryagain.wordpress.com/2026/09/30/s...
Silent Cinema: A Selection of Animation from the Early Years of the Silent Era
Until the release of The Jazz Singer (a landmark 1927 production), films were primarily silent, meaning they did not include synchronized sound; the technology to achieve synchronized sound was not…

I’ve been slowly getting back into reading, after many years of not doing so.
Major games studios being able to make their games as violent and sexually explicit as they want while small developers can’t definitely speaks to hypocrisy.
You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid
IGN@ign.com · last wk.GTA 6 has received a rating of PEGI 18, revealing mentions of "decapitation," the ability for players to snort cocaine at any time, "scenes of sexual fetishes," and much more.
Tonight’s listening: the album Moonlighting by The Rippingtons.
What advertisers expected out of FurAffinity was ludicrous - plus-sized bodies are not inherently sexual, and shouldn't be treated as such.

I’m still needing help! I have reached the other half of the goal yet, which is for bills. My partner’s car is okay, so now it’s just my two loan payments and my phone bill. ;w; If anyone can help by reposting, that would mean a lot!
