The CE Remake is sick and I'm having a ton of fun! That said, I've found the music to be too quiet. The audio balancing is not the greatest on that front. Fortunately, I have an easy fix, set your audio settings to these values before you boot up. TRUST ME!

Audio settings for the CE remake. Leave Music at 10 and set the other values to 6. This balances the music properly

I am officially back in the US! The rest of trip was super lowkey spent in Hamamatsu. Explored an old shrine, checked out some sand dunes, and spent some time downtown. Also tried some grilled eel (Hamamatsu speciality) Absolutely incredible trip. Definitely recommend!

Day 4: It’s time for the Snow Monkeys! We stayed at a wonderful Japanese bed and breakfast in a really nice small town with more cool stuff to do than expected. We instantly regretted not staying for a few days. After breakfast, we hit the trails to the Snow Monkeys Park!

Day 3: Oops, forgot to do a post for this day 🫠 Final day in Tokyo started off with a visit to the Shinjuku garden where there were fortunately Cherry Blossoms still in bloom! The garden was extremely well maintained with very nice walking trails and even a greenhouse.

Day 2: Even more walking! Slightly less than yesterday but wow I’m tired… Started the day with a trip up to the 45th floor of a public observation area. Got to see the entire Tokyo skyline. If it were just a little less cloudy, I could have seen Mt. Fuji, but I’ll settle for foothills.

Day 1: Temple and Shibuya day! So much walking, but went to see the oldest temple in Tokyo; Senso-Ji! Day started off with breakfast at a quaint little cafe then moved on to the actual temple itself. Some of the most beautiful Japanese architecture I’ve ever seen. Was completely awe-struck!

Day 0: I’ve arrived in this really cool place called “Japan”. Got some miso and sushi. Jet lag not too bad. Also no one told me Japanese convenience stores were so GOATed. I wasn’t familiar with their game.

I dug into and restored the cut content in The Pillar of Autumn! This is the one that kicked off the Halo franchise. Bungie needed to knock this one out of the park, it's the player's very first impression. And with that pressure comes a lot of concepts that never made it in. Check it out below!

One of the worst developments from the "influencer" era is every time a new game comes out and I look up guides for certain things, I have to sift through made-in-an-hour slop until I find something even sort of decent First content is not good content, make good content ffs...

Next Saturday starting around 9pm EST, I will be showcasing the NEW and improved Halo CE Anniversary run for SpeedDucks! There have been a couple major breakthroughs in the past couple of years, I’m talking even more advanced and crazier skips It’s also never been showcased in a marathon before 👀
