Ya know how Mom sometimes takes pictures of things that catch her eye? Well, today it was this “oak leaf bouquet” which made her stop, say “Augie, wait,” (which I did! 👍🐾) and take a picture. Of all the pretty fall leaves, she snaps a pic of the dead brown ones. 🙄
Mom says this photo is misleading. We climbed a lot of hills today. You don’t have to take my word for it bc she has the sore muscles to prove it. I’m going to be on snuggle duty tonight to help her feel better.
Today has gotten a whole lot better! We went for walkies all over town then stopped at a yummy sandwich shop where I got some beef-n-cheese, but the best part is that we found a bark park and I got to do playz with 4 other doggos. It was fuuuuun!
It’s a dreary day so we’re driving to Wallingford, CT to an antique lighting store to pick up two lamps the owner repaired for M+D. Exciting, right? Yeah, not so much. But, there may be unexpected adventures and treats so I’m not giving up hope.

Mom’s been crazy busy with work. She says it’ll get better after next week’s board meeting, whatever that is. I haven’t seen her as much so when she went for coffee really early this morning, I went with her instead of sleeping in. It was so early, I needed a coffee, too!
I’m multitasking again. I’m doing a #WontLookWednesday with Mom and I’m giving Dad puppy eyes trying to get a taste of his sandwich.
I checked when we got home and hubro is definitely not in his room. Is he coming back sometime soon? I miss him already.
Today is just…yuck. Hubro did 2 EMT shifts this weekend + he’s already heading back to school. At least I got a bonus visit. It’s pouring so we drove north for lunch + he left from there to save drive time. I’m sad. This is not a Funday. *sighs*

*runs into the kitchen* Mom: 😮 What just happened? Me: 😀 Dad and I just had so much fun with my herding ball! Dad: 🫥 *disappears*
‼️Two exciting newses‼️ Mom is home. MOM IS HOME! …and… Hubro is doing an EMT shift at our local station tonight and will be home tomorrow for the rest of the weekend. HUBRO WILL BE HOME TOMORROW! I’m very happy excited. *runs in curcles*🌪️
Before Mom left for NYC, I did my #WontLookWednesday. She says it also serves as proof that when she left, I had a clean face, my floof was fluffy, and my feetsies were white.
Doin’ boys’ time! Mom’s in NYC until Fri. and I’m home with Dad. He took me out for crazy playz and I got pretty dirty, but because it’s Dad, I’m just gonna get a spot clean. What’s that, Dad? It’s best not to mention this to Mom?
Mom + I did long evening hikings. It’s about time. She’s been so busy with work that we haven’t done hikings in eleventy dozen days!

I had a double Dunkin’ day! Mom is crazy busy with work so we went super early so she could get coffee. We did sharesies with an egg/cheese wrap. Then later, I went to do errands with Dad and we stopped at a different Dunkin’. He gave me some bacon. Score! Best way to start Mon.!
I am very enthusiastic about playing the ‘catch the leaves’ game.
