Hubro just told me he goes back to school in one week. One week! That’s only 7 sleeps. How did that happen? He was supposed to be home for a whole long time this summer, but it went really fast. I’m sad. I’m gonna miss him. I’m gonna need a lot of pup cups to get through this.
Hubro didn’t have to work late tonight so we went to the ice cream place and he got me a pup cup!
We had a big storm yesterday and there is more rain coming this week, so Mom took me for swimmies on our hike today. She said we need to make the most of the sun while we have it which sounded good to me!
After morning coffee w Mom, I spent the day out+about w Dad. We were doin’ impawtent scouting to check out places (w lower taxes) we might live when we downsize. We didn’t find anything great but Dad said I was very good company + I got a special bacon treat. No pics bc…Dad. 🙄
GM. We’re at Dunkin’ and I’m ready to do some greetings. Mom says we’re gonna do sharesies with an egg-n-cheese wrap so today’s starting out ok!
The rain stopped + the sun came out and just like that Monday became Funday! Mom bought something called a beach ball for me. She said she knew how it was going to end before the fun even started but, since it cost only $.69, it didn’t matter. 1/4🧵
I just got ‼️VERY EXCITING NEWS‼️We’ve been quiet bc we didn’t want to add any pressure, but hubro’s been taking a night course to become an EMT. He passed his class+practical w flying colors! He’s now qualified to sit for the NY certification exam. 🎉 We all have *proud ears.*

While M+D were away last night, I stayed home with hubro. He gave me extra treats and I got to sleep with him in a big bed! I’m happy M+D are home, but hanging out just me + hubro was fun.
On their drive home from Atlantic City, M+D saw the Goodyear blimp. They haven’t seen it in ages and didn’t know it was still operational. I’ve never seen it, but from this photo I think it looks like a big dog toy in the sky!
This is the concert M+D went to with frens from college last night. Mom said it was an odd pairing just like her + Dad. She likes Toad The Wet Sprocket and he likes Men at Work.
M+D are home! There was a problem w their room so they got upgraded to an ocean view which was pretty. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach or boardwalk during summer, but it’s ok from Sept - May so maybe they’ll take me for a beach adventure.
M+D are going to Atlantic City to go to a concert w friends fr college so Mom+I did early walkies in my nature preserve across the street. It was quiet…until we met a dog walker w 8 dogs then things livened up a bit which was fun! I’m staying home w hubro so that’ll be fun, too!

Whoa. We came across a big paw print on our walkies in the woods tonight. Compare it to mine for scale. Yikes.
🎉‼️Exciting News! ‼️🎉 Uncle Charles won $12k while on vacation! Woofy wow! I bet he and Aunt Karen are gonna buy a lot of extra treats!
