New preprint! 🧠🧠🧠What does normal (non-disease) huntingtin do in a neuron? We knocked down htt in just 8 circadian pacemaker neurons (sLNvs) of the fly brain, small enough to isolate cell-autonomous effects from network effects. Please share! doi.org/10.64898/202...

Synaptic Targets of Circadian Clock Neurons Influence Core Clock Parameters
Neuronal connectivity in the circadian clock network is essential for robust endogenous timekeeping. In the Drosophila circadian clock network, the four pairs of small ventral lateral neurons (sLNvs) ...

Excited to share my new #preprint with @erikherzog.bsky.social! By mapping the functional #connectome of the #SCN using 3000+ hours of recordings from 9000+ cells in 17 mice, we explored how mammalian clock neurons synchronize to produce #circadian rhythms. (1/n)
International students and postdocs are deprived of opportunities to apply to several fellowships because of US citizenship or permanent residency requirements. Kudos and gratitude to organizations like the American Heart Association that recognize talent regardless of citizenship.
