A free event with four crime writers (including me!) talking about crime writing between the wars - who could resist that? Come along on Monday and join in the chat! @chrislloydauthor.bsky.social @lukedeckard.bsky.social @jamiewestauthor.co.uk @barryf48.bsky.social

Very much looking forward to sharing a panel with the brilliant @lukedeckard.bsky.social @matthewboothauthor.bsky.social and @jamiewestauthor.co.uk, chaired by the equally brilliant @barryf48.bsky.social at West Hampstead Library on Monday. And it's free... See you there!

OUT NOW! My new Everett Carr mystery, in which Carr is in a race against time to find a ruthless killer who appears to strike at random. Can Carr survive long enough to bring the killer to justice? Fan of Agatha Christie, Dorothy L Sayers, or PD James? Check out Carr and the rest of the series!

I had a wonderful weekend at Alibis in the Archive at the fabulous Gladstone’s Library. It was so lovely to meet everyone and chat about all aspects of crime fiction, and of course Victorian detectives and their sleuthing skills. A fantastic experience!

At the wonderful Gladstone's Library for this year's Alibis in the Archives crime festival, but got here early to work on the next Everett Carr mystery. And, of course, the latest Everett Carr novel, A Sudden Vengeance, is now available to buy, published by Level Best Books...

Very pleased to say that my new Everett Carr novel, A Sudden Vengeance, is now available in paperback and ebook, published by Level Best Books. If you like character-driven traditional murder mysteries, you'll love my Everett Carr series.

Just discovered that the very best, noblest, and the most iconic Watson of them all has passed. He was a crucial part of the Granada series, and a fundamental reason why those first 13 episodes remain the gold standard of Holmes adaptations. And a superb actor all round. My most dearest Watson.
