I’m an artist/ illustrator from the north of England. Most of my art inspo comes from stuff I grew up with that I thought was cool (80s/90s metal music, cartoony pin up babes, skater culture, beat em up video games) and I try to incorporate them into everything I make.

Guilty Gear has forever changed my brain chemistry with its incredibly unique story and character designs and brought me the love of my life, Johnny. Playing and drawing Guilty Gear brings me so much joy; I really hope to keep enjoying this series for a very long time!

I just learned how to download and decomp flash files to rip from the old judgment website and can confirm that the Raymond art is not in there. I've learned a lot of different technological soft skills in pursuit of information about GGJ and GGRoA. It's not enough. There's still so much missing. I need YOUR help.

Guilty Gear has always been a huge inspiration to me and got me into concept art, which fed my passion for making video game art! I also find it fun to incorporate parts of GG's wacky and crazy character designs into my own fashion and cosplays.

What does Guilty gear mean to you?
Guilty Gear showed me a couple of things: that you can always try again, and again, and again. To never give up on trying to be who you really are. The world may not wait for you; but you don't need to wait for it either.

And for that it means everything to me.

The story excerpt reads:
The prince, clothes dyed crimson from his blood and caked in mud, readjusted the grip on his sword and raised his eyes to meet her own. Finally, he chose to speak:

“I understand that I may die before you today, that this battle may be fruitless, but if it allows for even one of my people to escape, to live and fight another day, then my sacrifice will have not been in vain.”

The human’s words caused the commander to halt, her smile settling to something more neutral, almost unreadable. She didn’t want to admit it, but she was shocked. For the prince’s words had not just reached her, but the look in his eyes as he said them, the conviction they held told her that everything he said was true. She had thought it was her that had trapped the prince, caught him off guard in the dead of night the wind and harsher rains hiding her attack. But as she’d come to realize, it was her who’d been trapped. As she had realized with the boy’s statement he hadn’t been facing her one-on-one with such intensity because he wanted to be the one to claim victory over her as she’d previously thought, To put it simply: he had offered himself as a sacrifice, understanding how his position had made him a bigger target to his enemies. He offered himself, so that more could live.

Guilty Gear inspired me to never give up and keep picking myself up any time I tripped and fell down. I've met lifelong friends through the scene, and got to marry the love of my life, Jam-Kiske, who I met on Dustloop Forums way back when. GG changed my life for the better and it's all thanks to Jam.
